Mr. Dugal has 10+ years of experience as a principal investor in the
area of technology venture capital and growth equity. He currently serves as the Director of
Investments in the Silicon Valley office of RUSNANO Group, a $10.0 B
tech-focused growth equity fund. At
RUSNANO, Mr. Dugal helps manage the entire deal process, including sourcing,
due diligence, deal structuring, portfolio management, and liquidity/exit.
While pursuing his MBA from Wharton, Mr. Dugal was a Principal with Tanager Holdings, a family office firm formed by ex-partners at Goldman Sachs. Earlier, he was an investment professional in the Washington D.C. office of Paladin Capital Group, a $1.0 B multi-stage global venture capital / private equity firm; and an investment analyst at RedShift Ventures, an early-stage technology venture capital firm.
Mr. Dugal has been involved as a Board Director or observer with greater than twelve companies where he has been active in advising the C-Suite and fellow Board members on issues related to go-to-market, growth, recruiting, finance, and operations. He is currently involved with the boards of Advenira, Aquantia, SiTime, Quantenna, and Nectar Power.
A few of the successful companies where he is a current or former investor include SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, Unitrends, Initiate Systems, Quantenna, Cloudshield, and Aster Data.
Mr. Dugal holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School where he was a Wharton Fellows candidate, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland – College Park (UMCP).
